З 5 по 8 липня 2026 року делегація нашої громади взяла участь у Другій Транснаціональній зустрічі європейської мережі міст URBACT IV «Olympics4All – Active Ageing for Inclusive Communities» (Активне довголіття для інклюзивних громад), яка відбулася в італійському місті Бриндізі.
Проєкт, що фінансується Європейським Союзом, розрахований на 30 місяців і спрямований на створення європейської мережі міст, відданих ідеям активного довголіття, соціальної інклюзії та покращення добробуту людей старшого віку за допомогою залучення до спорту та рухової активності. Головним завданням мережі є адаптація та трансфер успішної практичної методології, розробленої провідним партнером проєкту — муніципалітетом Віла-Нова-де-Сервейра (Португалія).
Окрім Здолбунова (Україна) та Віла-Нова-де-Сервейра (Португалія), до цієї авторитетної міжнародної мережі входять ще шість європейських міст-партнерів: Алітус (Литва), Бриндізі (Італія), Пардубиці (Чеська Республіка), Онда (Іспанія), Дафні-Іміттос (Греція) та Вайле (Данія).
Здолбунівську громаду на міжнародному рівні представила експертна команда у складі координатора та двох членів робочої групи URBACT (ULG).
Програма візиту була надзвичайно інтенсивною та проходила в межах поточної фази проєкту «Розуміння кращої практики» (Understand), яка триває до кінця серпня 2026 року.
Офіційне відкриття зустрічі та ключові робочі сесії проходили в історичному просторі Палаццо Герр’єрі (Palazzo Guerrieri) за участю мера міста Бріндізі, який наголосив на важливості міжмуніципального навчання для стимулювання локальних інновацій. Протягом першого дня українська делегація спільно з європейськими колегами аналізувала структуру проведеного Дослідження трансферабельності (Transferability Study), а також долучилася до воркшопу з партисипації та методології роботи з місцевими групами дій (ULG). Ця частина роботи підводила підсумок попередньої оцінки кожного із муніципалітетів провідним експертом проекту та лідерської громадою щодо здатності вивчення досвіду та його адаптації в кожному із міст мережі.
Другий день візиту був присвячений практичному знайомству з інфраструктурою приймаючої сторони. Учасники здійснили серію польових виїздів та відвідали унікальні локальні об’єкти Бриндізі:
- Соціальний простір «La Bottega di Canti»;
- Міську мережу сусідських хабів «Case di Quartiere».
Ці муніципальні майданчики діють у Бриндізі як інтегровані платформи для ревіталізації міських районів, соціальної інклюзії, міжгенераційного обміну, залучення громадян та підтримки вразливих груп населення. Ці та подібні простори мають сприяти реалізації проєкту в італійському муніципалітеті, а допомогти йому зробити виважені кроки мала на меті наступна сесія глибокого занурення (Deep Dive), де напрацьовувалися для Бриндізі партнерські рекомендації щодо того, як ефективно поєднати методологію OLYMPICS4ALL із наявною інфраструктурою сусідських центрів.
Заключний день робочих зустрічей фокусувався на операційному плануванні, підготовці індивідуальних Локальних планів передачі досвіду (Transfer Plans) для кожної громади та координації подальшої участі партнерів у навчальних заходах програми URBACT University.
Отриманий досвід і вивчені моделі функціонування соціальних та спортивних просторів Італії й Португалії будуть детально опрацьовані робочою групою ULG Здолбунова. Це дозволить розробити чітку дорожню карту для впровадження сталих, адаптованих під українські реалії інструментів підтримки здоров’я, рухової активності та психоемоційного відновлення людей старшого віку в нашій громаді.
Working Visit to Italy: Zdolbuniv Community Adopts European Practices of Active Ageing and Inclusion Within the URBACT Project
From July 5 to July 8, 2026, a delegation from our city participated in the 2nd Transnational Meeting of the European city network URBACT IV “Olympics4All – Active Ageing for Inclusive Communities,” which took place in the Italian city of Brindisi.
The EU-funded project spans 30 months and aims to establish a European network of cities committed to the ideas of active ageing, social inclusion, and improving the well-being of older individuals by engaging them in sports and physical activity. The primary objective of the network is the adaptation and transfer of successful practical methodology developed by the Lead Partner of the project — the Municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira (Portugal).
In addition to Zdolbuniv (Ukraine) and Vila Nova de Cerveira (Portugal), this prestigious international network includes six other European partner cities: Alytus (Lithuania), Brindisi (Italy), Pardubice (Czech Republic), Onda (Espanha/Spain), Dafni-Ymittos (Greece), and Vejle (Denmark).
The Zdolbuniv community was represented at the international level by an expert team consisting of the project coordinator and two members of the URBACT Local Group (ULG).
The visit’s agenda was highly intensive and took place within the current “Understand the Best Practice” phase of the project, which runs until the end of August 2026.
The official opening of the meeting and key working sessions were held in the historical space of Palazzo Guerrieri, with the participation of the Mayor of Brindisi, who emphasized the importance of inter-municipal learning to stimulate local innovation. On the first day, the Ukrainian delegation, alongside European colleagues, analyzed the structure of the conducted Transferability Study and joined a workshop focused on participation and the methodology of working with URBACT Local Groups (ULGs). This segment of work summarized the preliminary assessment made by the project’s Lead Expert and the Lead Partner regarding each municipality’s capacity to study and adapt the experience within their respective network cities.
The second day of the visit was dedicated to a practical introduction to the host city’s infrastructure. The participants conducted a series of field visits and toured unique local sites in Brindisi:
- “La Bottega di Canti” social space;
- “Case di Quartiere” municipal network of neighborhood hubs.
These municipal venues function in Brindisi as integrated platforms for urban area revitalization, social inclusion, intergenerational exchange, citizen engagement, and support for vulnerable groups. These and similar spaces are designed to facilitate the project’s implementation in the Italian municipality. To assist the host city in taking well-considered steps, a subsequent Deep Dive session was held, where partners collaborated to develop recommendations for Brindisi on how to effectively combine the OLYMPICS4ALL methodology with its existing network of neighborhood centers.
The final day of the working meetings focused on operational planning, the preparation of individual Local Transfer Plans for each community, and coordinating the partners’ future participation in the training activities of the URBACT University.
The gained experience and the examined operational models of social and sports spaces in Italy and Portugal will be thoroughly analyzed by the Zdolbuniv ULG working group. This will enable the development of a clear roadmap to implement sustainable tools adapted to Ukrainian realities, aimed at supporting the health, physical activity, and psycho-emotional recovery of older citizens in our community.
